Job description Your tasks:Strategic Growth & Yield Management: Responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives focused on sustainable growth and yield optimization.Global Ocean Trade Projects: Manage worldwide ocean trade projects, emphasizing sustainable resource planning, skills management, and effective problem resolution.Portfolio Management Support: Provide business-oriented portfolio management support, ensuring alignment of project deliverables with sustainability goals, scope definition, and benefit tracking.Conflict Resolution & Resource Allocation: Facilitate project mission definition, goal setting, and resource allocation, while addressing conflicts within projects and functional areas to ensure sustainable outcomes.Documentation & Improvement: Document project initiation, plans, and benefits tracking, striving for continuous improvement in project methodologies with a sustainability-driven focus.Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and involvement to foster sustainable project outcomes.Sustainability-focused Budget Management: Effectively manage project budgets and resource allocation with a strong emphasis on sustainability-related considerations.Technology Integration & Evaluation: Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into sustainable technology solutions, oversee solution design evaluation, and support technology implementation, testing, and training with a sustainability lens.Your profile:Finished apprenticeship and/or studies in the area of logistics with several years of working experience in the freight forwarding business and track record in managing projects successfully.Deep understanding of ocean freight forwarding.Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.Attention to details and strong organizational skills.Experienced in utilising project management methodologies and tools.Experienced in analyzing and documenting diverse business processes and workflows.Good communication skills as the role requires frequent communication to various directions and all management levels.Quality and efficiency driven working style.Ability to work independently as well as within global teams.Fluent in Business English (spoken and written).Proactive, positive, enthusiastic and self-driven.
