Assistant Store Manager - Premium Fashion Brand - Ingolstadt Germany
Mode Search is partnered with a globally recognised premium fashion brand celebrated for its jet-set aesthetic, modern glamour, and timeless style. The brand has a strong international presence across retail, outlet villages, and flagship locations, and is known for its distinctive identity, sophisticated product offering, and loyal customer base.
We are supporting them in their search for an Assistant Store Manager to join their outlet store in Ingolstadt, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to support the Store Manager in driving commercial success, inspiring a large team, and delivering an elevated client experience in a fast-paced outlet environment.
Responsibilities
Co-lead all aspects of store operations alongside the Store Manager
Inspire, coach, and develop a diverse team of around 20 staff members at peak periods
Drive sales performance, holding both self and team accountable for results
Deliver an exceptional client experience, supporting clienteling and CRM initiatives
Recruit, train, and onboard top retail talent
Manage and analyse store KPIs, creating action plans to optimise results
Maintain operational excellence including inventory management, compliance, and company standards
Collaborate with management team on events, outreach, and community engagement to build the customer base
Requirements
Proven management experience within a fast-paced retail environment (fashion, premium, or high-street)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a large team
Confident, resilient, and adaptable in a challenging and demanding retail setting
Fluent in English and German
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong knowledge of retail KPIs and operational processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to leverage technology for client engagement
Able to commute to Ingolstadt Outlet Village five days per week
Notice period of ideally under 2 months (3 months maximum not preferred)
