Senior Data Engineer – Bochum As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take on tasks related to data with a strong focus on our modern data warehouse.

You will expand the MDWH to include data sources and pipelines and will be the contact person for data questions from the specialist departments.

Further Responsibilities Initially, your focus will be on developing a deep understanding of our data warehouse infrastructure, data structures and our business model.

After a detailed induction, you will accompany your first data projects in tandem and then manage projects independently in close coordination with the data team.

You will identify and implement optimization potential in the existing MDWH, the data structures and processes.

You actively contribute to knowledge transfer by sharing your knowledge with colleagues and at the same time absorbing new insights from adjacent areas.

Key Skills You enjoy tackling data management collaboratively and work in a structured manner so that data pipelines and structures remain clear even in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge of SQL and Python as well as experience with modern data warehouses, preferably Azure Synapse, are a given for you.

You have already successfully expanded a DWH in the past - ideally in Azure.

Benefits A salary in the range of €70,000 – €85,000 depending on your professional experience and relevant skills.
