Beschreibung

Overview To provide technical leadership and define the architecture of processor-based systems by overseeing the integration of digital, analog, and high-frequency electrical designs, managing lab bring-up and validation activities, and guiding processor design teams to ensure robust, high-performance, and manufacturable systems that meet business objectives and accelerate product development cycles. Key responsibilities: Provide technical leadership for the definition, integration, and bring-up of processor-based systems, including all peripheral subsystems. Oversee system-level electrical design — both digital and analog — ensuring performance and signal integrity at GHz frequencies. Coordinate activities across processor design, board/system hardware, firmware, and validation. Act as the primary decision-maker for system architecture trade-offs involving performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost. Guide lab bring-up activities, ensuring efficient debug, test coverage, and functional validation of new systems. Mentor senior engineers and provide architectural guidance to processor design teams to ensure alignment with overall system requirements. Ensure first-pass success of complete processor-based systems through expert oversight from architecture to lab validation. Reduce development cycle time by anticipating and resolving cross-domain integration issues early. Maintain system performance leadership through optimal integration of high-speed interfaces, analog subsystems, and processor core functions. Your profile Education: Master’s degree or Ph D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent industry experience considered. Technical Expertise I.20+ years of experience in high-performance system design and integration, including processor-based platforms. II. Deep expertise in: System architecture definition and integration planning. High-speed digital design (GHz-range interfaces, signal integrity, power integrity). Mixed-signal and analog subsystem integration. Lab bring-up, debug, and validation methodologies. High-speed interconnect standards (PCIe, DDR, Ser Des, etc.). III. Proven record of guiding processor design teams to meet system-level requirements. Leadership and Coordination Skills Exceptional ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams. Skilled in resolving cross-domain technical challenges in fast-paced environments. Strong mentoring capability for senior technical staff.
