Are you an Associate/Principal BMS Specialist that wants to contribute to the future of building technology in dynamic environments across Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt? We are seeking a dedicated Associate/Principal BMS Controls Specialist to support the design and implementation of mechanical and electrical installations for technology-driven buildings. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop designs and specifications for new MEP installations.
- Create detailed documentation such as points lists, sequence of operations, and network topology drawings.
- Review engineering proposals from contractors to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct surveys and produce improvement plans for existing installations.
- Engage in technical discussions during meetings with clients and project teams.
- Oversee testing and commissioning activities throughout project completion.
Required Skills:
- Engineering Acumen: Possess an HNC/BEng or equivalent experience in engineering with aspirations towards Chartered Engineer status.
- Multilingual: Fluent in German; professional working proficiency in English preferred.
- Technical Software Proficiency: Competent with IT-based calculation software, MS Office, and control systems products like Schneider, Siemens, and Trend.
- Safety Knowledge: Well-versed in key Health and Safety issues and legislation relevant to the field.
Note: This role is adaptable, requiring travel as needed to meet international projects' demands. The ideal candidate will possess over five years of senior-level engineering experience, preferably within a consulting or construction environment. An understanding of British/European standards and regulations is essential.
